Your voice belongs on your device.

Microphone and Accessibility

Microphone permission lets Pomvox hear you while you dictate. Accessibility permission powers the shortcut and the insertion at your cursor. Manage both in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

What stays local

The Pomvox app processes dictation audio and transcripts on your Mac. First setup needs a model download. Anonymous usage statistics are optional, need your explicit choice, and cannot carry audio or transcript text.

The app and the SDK are different

The standalone Cleanup Engine (engine) also offers a separate, explicitly configured cloud client for developers. That is not an automatic cloud fallback in the Pomvox app.
